2013 Elections Rescheduled — Now Set for June 20
/The South Lake Union Community Council (SLUCC) will be holding its 2013 elections on June 20, 2013. There are currently two open seats available (2 board appointed) and two seats that are retiring (2 board appointed). We welcome all members of the South Lake Union community who are interested in taking an active role in the future of this neighborhood to apply for a board position, join a committee and/or attend our monthly meetings. Through April 30, we have received a number of letters of application. However, it is apparent that some stakeholders only recently became aware of the election process and may not have had adequate time to respond or mark their calendars to attend the original May 7 election date.
Therefore, to allow full participation by all interested parties, the election has been postponed until June 20. The meeting will be held at the AGC building (1200 Westlake Avenue N), 2nd Floor conference room next to Starbucks from 4-6 p.m.
Application deadline is May 24, 11:59 pm
